In 2015, Alan and his wife Truc, sister Kat and brother-in-law Peter, were determined to build a sustainable business that would showcase their amazing Vietnamese culinary street culture here in Australia.
To do this they raised some money from relatives, opened a small tuck-shop serving simple street food eats and it was not long after they opened their very first store in Summer Hill NSW, hence the name ‘Saigon Summer’.
Our food offering is all about authentic taste. Much love and passion goes into everything we do, right from the menu creation, sourcing quality fresh ingredients, the preparation, the cooking and more. Our aim is to ensure that our customers always enjoy deliciously fresh Vietnamese street food, influenced from the Saigon Summer family’s soulful heritage & amazing culinary culture.
